Vincitore di due Compasso d’Oro, nel 2009 è insignito del Premio dei Premi per l’innovazione, conferitogli dal Presidente della Repubblica per il progetto Eureka Coop.
Sempre nel 2009 la Triennale di Milano ospita la sua mostra personale: “Giulio Iacchetti.
Oggetti disobbedienti”. Da sempre attento al rapporto tra realtà artigiana e design, nel 2012 lancia internoitaliano. È ideatore e curatore di mostre e art director per diversi brand del design. Nel 2023 fonda con Alberto Alessi il marchio “Il Tornitore Matto”.

Also in 2009, the Milan Triennale hosted his solo exhibition: ‘Giulio Iacchetti.
Disobedient Objects’. Always oriented to the relationship between craftsmanship and design, in 2012 he launched internoitaliano. He is the creator and curator of exhibitions and art directions for several design brands. In 2023 he founded the brand ‘Il Tornitore Matto’ with Alberto Alessi.
